These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Gcut at gcut.in. By creating an account, shortening a link, or using any Gcut feature, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Gcut is a URL shortening and link-management service. Features may include custom short codes, QR codes, click analytics, expiry settings, location tools, and paid plans. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Guest users may create a limited number of links without an account. Registered free and paid plans have different limits, as shown in Settings.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use Gcut to:

• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other harmful content.
• Promote scams, fraud, or illegal activity.
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Spam, harass, or collect personal data of others without a lawful basis.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

We may disable links or accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your links and content

You keep ownership of the destination URLs and content you submit. You grant Gcut a licence to store, redirect, display, and process that content only as needed to run the service.

You are solely responsible for the websites your short links open, including any location or tracking you enable on those links.

5. Plans and payments

Paid plans are purchased through Gcut checkout and activated after payment confirmation. Plan benefits, prices, and duration are shown in the product at the time of purchase. Free features may be limited. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Gcut available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting issues, or abuse prevention may cause downtime.

7. Intellectual property

Gcut, its logo, design, and software are owned by Gcut or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that short links will always work, that analytics will be complete, or that the service will meet every purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gcut is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or damage arising from a destination website opened through a short link. Our total liability for a paid plan will not exceed the amount you paid for that plan.

10. Termination

You may stop using Gcut at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay for a plan, or misuse the service. After termination, short links may stop working.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law says otherwise.
